Vitamix 5300 Vs Explorian Maybe a magic bullet is the way to go if you need something incredibly little, but I enjoy this huge jug and use it to make almond milk and other things that require the larger jar than my mini smoothie. I'm aware that, if necessary, I could go ahead and purchase a smaller container at some point in the future, but for the moment, I have no complaints and so see no reason to do so. The vitamix makes everything totally smooth, is quieter and more robust on the counter, and I occasionally have to scrape things out with a spatula, much like I did with the blendtec before, but the blendtec left frozen pieces of fruit or ice in it. I can't imagine anyone being dissatisfied with this machine, especially at the Costco price, and I particularly appreciate the 2.2 HP motor. If you have a pet, you should be aware that pet hair collects along that lip, but it can drag itself across it.
My Roomba, named Ruby, has trouble picking up debris at the carpet/hardwood interface. My home is decorated with black and white swirled area rug and Brazilian cherry flooring.
