Janome HD3000 vs HD1000 I haven't checked each one. The T-40 is safe. Topstitching threads are also fine when used with the right topstitching needle. Reduce the top tension when using heavier threads, and if you're using it in the bobbin, it may also need to be changed. I usually have two bobbin cases on hand. One is for T-50 thread, and the other is for special threads or threads that are stronger. This machine is only used to make straight or travel stitches. Oh, indeed!
